It wouldn’t be a Hawaiian party without bright flowers and decorations. Time to get creative! With some crepe paper and craft wire, you can easily make beautiful hibiscus blooms. Why not make it part of your party with a make-your-own-lei station. With lots of multicolored paper cut into flower shapes and some string, your guests can get into the crafty spirit, too!

Upgrade your drink table to a tiki bar. Whether your party is ‘BYOB ’ or bartender service, having your drinks served at the tiki hut is a great way to bring the Hawaiian vibe to your party. Create a Hawaiian signature cocktail to serve guests. Try a classic Mai Tai or create a coconut mojito to get the party off to a great start.

Offering inspired food is an absolute must when it comes to planning a Hawaiian party. To get your guests into the Hawaiian spirit why not offer grilled swordfish with pineapple and plantain, or try crusted crab cakes with chili dip. Add some incredible Hawaiian sweet breads and sweet potato salad as sides you’ll have a feast that everyone will love.

Curating a whole playlist can but fun, but it is a lot of hard work! Music streaming sites have great party playlists and even some Hawaiian specific ones ready to get things going. Any of your guests play an instrument? Why not have a few ukuleles ready for some impromptu live music. It is a great way to have some fun and get people together.
